Acorn Day

Discover the many steps to process acorns, try them out yourself, and sample some acorn mush in this family-friendly program! Pomo cultural educator, Bernadette Smith, an enrolled member of the Manchester/Point Arena Band of Pomo Indians, will start the program at 1:30 with both a traditional and contemporary Pomo song and dance. Then she will give a talk and demonstration.

This program is included with Museum admission. Admission to the Museum is always free for Native Americans, Museum Members, and Active-Duty Military.
