Curator of Education & Exhibits
The Grace Hudson Museum has begun a search for a Curator of Education & Exhibits. This full-time position comes with competitive benefits. Seeking to have someone in place by January 2020. The Museum is looking for someone who has:
Academic training in one or more disciplines that relate to the museum’s interpretive agenda – i.e., the equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in art history, anthropology, museum studies, history, Native American studies, education, art, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in a related field is desirable.
Three years of work experience in creating museum exhibits and associated education programs.
Knowledge of early California art, and/or central California Indian history and culture, and/or Native American art, and/or early California history, and/or plants that are indigenous to central and northern California and their uses.
The Grace Hudson Museum is owned by the City of Ukiah, so the hiring process is conducted by the City and new hires become City employees.
